The book first takes one on a gentle stroll through EFT, starting the journey from the background moving onto tapping procedure, points and phrases through to giving an understanding of meridian systems and holistic healing. It then moves onto the Getting Thru Technique which is along a different road, not quite as straight as the EFT one nevertheless it is exciting as it takes one through Guided Visualisations and the Unification Process. This latter process, whilst it sounds daunting, is intriguing as it helps one to pull fragmented sub-personalities back into a unified soul. The 'unified soul' may feel a wee bit off-track for some users, however for those practitioners using an holistic approach, it is possible to see the whole picture emerging - as if viewing an ordnance survey map. A very nice diversion to take. The book then moves down a small side road to touch on boundaries, co-dependency and Reframing Processes. Nothing too distracting, and very easy scenery to absorb. And finally, finally, at the end of the journey there are several areas one can visit dealing with different conditions, before reaching the twin destinations of 'increasing physical activity and performance' and 'achieving genuine freedom'. The journey this book takes one down is comfortable, easy-going, exciting, daunting and stimulating and there is no compulsion to HAVE to go down any particular route - it's all about information and knowledge and empowerment. It gives a very good overview of the techniques for both beginner and experienced practitioner. And, in the Appendix section under Resources, there is a very helpful Web Sites heading which includes 'Other Meridian-Based Therapies - this was found to be very helpful.
