The Genuis Symbols.

Well, the title is talking pretty big, isn't it?
And the very first chapter – or rather the introduction – titles "Welcome To YOUR Genius". It could seem a somewhat presumptuous claim to "have a sound theory which powers a set of strategies to ... get a person, ANY PERSON who sincerely wants, to contact their 'genius within' and create their own genius solutions to their problems and contributions." So let's take a closer look.
Would we consider Einstein, DaVinci, Céculé, Goethe, Poincaré, Edison, and many of the Nobel prize laureates geniuses? I have little doubt that most people would agree. Now, what MAKES them geniuses? Is it logic and a special knack for calculations? Hardly – or our computers that are really great at this would have to be considered geniuses.
Research and what some of these people report tells us that it is apparently not those faculties of the conscious mind that make them special. By way of illustration Einstein himself has attributed it to letting fantasy flow without restrictions and it seems that images, visions, emotions, and sense perceptions COMBINED in "thinking" make a genius strategy (for a more detailed treatise see for instance "The Einstein Factor" by Win Wenger and Richard Poe).
Ok, and what does Silvia Hartmann do in "The Genuis Symbols"? She offers an elaborate yet deceivingly simple system that encompasses just that elusive combination. Plus The Genius Symbols allows to tap into much wider spheres of mind than we might usually even consider possible.
I found the introduction to the system concise, easy to read, and easy to follow in practice. So it is very doable. And Silvia Hartmann delivers a great many examples of what we can do with the system. Thus it doesn't take a genius to become a genius ;-)
But does it do any good in every day life? Well I have played with the system and with the symbols – yes, the word is "play" not "work"; this is called a Game, not work; I like that!!
So I have played with the symbols. I had a personal project that had been stuck for days. All my thinking and trying was to no avail. So this was a good candidate for testing the symbols.
In short, it worked marvellously. I randomly drew one symbol and later another, and played with them in regard to my stuck project. Within moments a new dynamic unfolded and things were advanced considerably. So it definitely did work for me.
While different people will certainly take different amounts of time to get the hang of it – just as it is with learning to walk, tying shoe laces, driving a car, Chinese, or quantum physics, anything in fact – I am confident that the system is simple and straight forward enough for anyone who sincerely wants and has an open mind to contact their genius within.
So, Dr Hartmann, congratulations! I highly recommend this book. It delivers.
