I love this book and I'm so glad I found it.
Actually, I fell in love with MindMillion before I ever read a single word of it. It was something that Silvia Hartmann had written in her sales letter - amongst many other compelling reasons for my consideration - "What I have learned is that you do not change your stars by trying to copy things that other people who aren't you SAY THEY DID to get rich".
Here, I thought, is someone who really knows.
Someone who has discovered, as I have (and, it transpired, the 'hard way', as I have) that each individual one of us has our own unique and idiosyncratic path that no one can walk for us, no matter how well intentioned they may be and how successful they've been on their own path. And that successful people are often, in any case, unable to discern between how they think they achieved their success and how they really achieved it.
The truth is we must all ultimately achieve our success in our own way. Whatever that way may turn out to be.
Silvia Hartmann subtitles her book Rags to Riches in 6 Phases. And it's as simple as that. Six phases explained with crystal clarity, so that the ideas 'sink in' very quickly - a rare experience, for me at least, with self-help and personal development literature. And each phase with a practical exercise to cement its ideas into place.
This is distilled wisdom of an inspirational quality.
From the easy one-minute stress reduction technique I learned about in Phase 1 that really works (and which I effortlessly incorporated into my daily life without a second thought) to 'The Empire Builder's Toolkit' at the back of the book that as well as offering a range of easy to use and effective techniques for our daily emotional and psychological support neatly summarises Silvia Hartmann's many and varied talents.
Indeed, this book is in its way an invitation to explore a world of potential delights and achievements far beyond the healthy acquisition of money.
I own three of Silvia's books now. I'm a member of the MindMillion network at Yahoo! Groups and visit that forum far more frequently than any other. In short, I'm a BIG fan of Dr. Hartmann's work and I think she's a genius!
