I was most touched by this great book. As of now I haven't read all the tales in it but I can already say it was a very joyous experience :) . Although I already knew some of the stories which had been published before on various places this couldn't really stop my excitement and wonderment on the new ones.

  Reading it I could see the dragons of my youth soaring across the night sky, angels playing and dancing on my bed, being a famous singer.  

Golden Horses is a combination of adult fairy tales, child rearing manual, and a thought provoking stimulus for the brain.

The stories awoke childhood dreams that had been laid to rest and forgotten. Buried deep and not thought of once adult responsibilities took away the time for playing, this book took me back in time when anything was possible.

  This is the fairy tale book I would loved to have read when I was a child!  

It is rare, very rare indeed, that someone comes along who can handle the traditional fairy tale format and produce such sparkling gems of pure creativity. From the wonderful Golden Horse, which gives this anthology its name, to the immensely moving Star Child, the inspirational story of Darain Of The Dragons, the quite terrifying Book Of The Law and the superbly told The Wedding, these are stories of true power, of beauty, filled with emotion, leaving the reader uplifted, and thoroughly enriched. This is the fairy tale book I would loved to have read when I was a child!
