Sandra Hillawi in Portsmouth: The News

Sandra Hillawi in Portsmouth: The News Article From Portsmouth's The News: Sandra Hillawi is a woman on a mission. She believes she can help people unlock the secrets to finding love and romance and that the key to it lies within our own bodies.

The 44-year-old is an energy specialist and believes that relaxing and letting go of the past can bring happiness in to our personal relationships as well as unburdening us of physical symptoms.
Ever felt a tension headache, back pain or that gut-wrenching pang in your stomach when you're feeling anxious?

Well according to Sandra that's just blocked energy and learning how to get rid of it will not only make you feel better but will also free you to find love or get the most out of an existing relationship.

Alternative therapists have been talking about the body's energy system for years – Reiki, acupuncture and other treatments all deal with energy points in the body.
But Sandra, from Gosport, believes that her chosen technique – called emo trance – won't just help people relax, it has the potential to change their lives, particularly when it comes to finding love.
'Emotions arise from the body's subtle energy systems and it's all about energy and understanding this and helping clients understand how they function and what the emotions are,' says Sandra.
'When we feel bad and stressed, when we know that's only energy and we can change that so easily, big changes become possible.'

She adds: 'Because we understand that emotions arise from our body's energy systems when we are feeling good, our energy is flowing and when we are feeling bad, the energy is bad.
'When we start listening to the messages from the body we find out where it is hurting.'
She talks to clients – either over the phone or in person – and helps them visualise where their pain is before getting them to imagine releasing it.

She's now written a book about her work called The Love Clinic and believes that it will help people looking for romance equip themselves with the tools to find it.
With the number of single people in the UK rising all the time and the trend for alternative therapy finding favour with more and more of us she's confident that her approach can work.
And she says she even found her own partner using her technique after she'd spent years attracting the wrong kind of man.

Sandra, who runs her business Passion For Health from her home, adds: 'I wrote The Love Clinic to show people that finding love doesn't have to be an accident.
'Because we are holding on to our past love lives we end up feeling fed-up and start thinking: "Have I met the right guy?"

'Letting all that go, we start feeling good about ourselves, probably not becoming so dependent on a relationship for our own self esteem and well-being. If we feel good then we are more attractive.'
