Easy EFT – A Simple & Concise Guide to Emotional Freedom Techniques

Easy EFT – A Simple & Concise Guide to Emotional Freedom Techniques

The alternative health community have, over the last few years, gained a great deal of support thanks to a number of scientific research programmes and celebrity endorsements. One such alternative health practice, Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT for short, is proving especially popular and has been recently in the news for helping pop-singer Lily Allen lose weight.

EFT was developed in the 1990's by Gary Craig, and has many similarities to acupuncture, but instead of needles, the practitioner uses their fingers to repeatedly tap on the pressure points, thereby releasing trapped β€œEnergy” in the meridian pathways. This is believed to be a highly effective way of reducing emotional trauma, which is in turn known to help reduce physical ailments.

As EFT becomes increasingly popular more and more people are beginning to take up the technique, but taking qualifications in the field can be an expensive option for those wanting it merely for self-healing. A new book published this November is changing this, with simple step by step instructions and guidelines on the technique, along with a constructive introduction to the human Energy body and why EFT works so well.

The StressFish Guide to Easy EFT by Dr. Silva Hartmann is designed with a focus on using EFT for combating stress, but is the perfect introduction for any of us unfamiliar with terms such as the Energy Body or Meridian Points.

Michael Ball recently admitted to using EFT to calming his nerves before going on stage for a show, whilst American PGA players have been spotted tapping on the golf course. Madonna is also rumoured to be an EFT fan! This, coupled with new research carried out at the University of Montreal that shows a direct link between emotions and psychical pain, have resulted in a big increase in the technique's popularity.

Silvia Hartmann is regarded as one of the leading experts in the field and has been at the forefront of EFT for more than a decade. In 1998, Dr Hartmann founded the Association for Meridian & Energy Therapies which certifies licensed EFT practitioners and trainers world wide and is also known for her best selling book β€˜Adventures in EFT’ which is now in its sixth edition.

The StressFish Guide to Easy EFT by Silvia Hartmann has been launched as a low-cost introduction to the technique, is well illustrated, written for a general audience and is free of any psycho-babble. The book is published by DragonRising Publishing, the personal development specialists, and is available from all good bookshops, Amazon and the DragonRising website.

Silvia Hartmann is available for interviews on a wide variety of topics, including how to de-stress, sports performance, public performance nerves, phobias, addictions and PTSD.
